Camping-Village Cavallino is located on the Venetian coast, between Lido di Jesolo and Punta Sabbioni, and close to Venice.
It is set in a park full of seaside pine-trees, plane trees and Bohemian olive trees.
In front of the camping, a large beach gently stretches along a quiet and clean sea, which in 2006 was awarded the "Blue Flag" for the cleanliness of its waters.
The Village has new and very comfortable mobile homes, most with air conditioning, with several essential facilities for your holidays: Baia Comfort, Baia Blu, Baia Classic, Baia Relax and the luxourious Baia Lux. There are also several large pitches with water and power supply, neatly arranged in an uncontaminated naturalistic context, close to the clean Adriatic sea.
The camping offers various and relaxing activities, such as bocce, ping pong, beach volley and minigolf.
There is also a playground for your children and a professional team of entertainers, which will be glad to fill your day with games and entertainment, different for adults and children.
Additionally, a swimming pool, modern toilet and shower blocks, a supermarket, and restaurant/cafè and other services and facilities are available for you to enjoy your holiday.
Events and excursions in the surrounding area: CAVALLINO AREA Battlefield finds such as the fort at the island of Sant’Erasmo, a Habsburg fortification built by the French emperor Maximilan. The fort Vecchio at Lio Grando built in 1849 in order todefend the port of Treporti is an example of Austrian military architecture. The batteries, military constructions of the First World War, built in order to protect the whole Venetian area.You cannot miss every Tuesday morning the popular Cavallino Market with its typical products. For your Souvenirs (from June to September) on Friday evening there is a small marketin the centre of Cavallino (Piazza Cavallino): the market is situated 4 kilometres from the campsite.
At the end of August a firework display is being launched all along the coast of the Littoral (Beach on Fire). Skies are lit up by emotions along the 14 km beach of Cavallino-Treporti.
A Guinness event.VENICE AND THE ISLAND OF MURANO BURANO AND TORCELLOBy a public boat service from Punta Sabbioni you may directly reach the famous St. Mark’s Square at Venice or visit some of the major islands: Murano, word-famous for the quality ofits glass-work; Burano known for its lace-making industry and the pastel coloured houses.
VENICE REDENTORE FESTIVAL On the 19th of July you may participate at the REDENTORE FESTIVAL. The Redentore festival is one of the best-loved by Venetians. The festival itself dates back to the year 1577 whenVenice was suffering from a terrible plague. Still today Venetians celebrate on the third Saturday of July the end of the plague with fireworks.
AQUALANDIA About 10 kilometres far from the campsite Aqualandia is a theme water park which mimics a Caribbean Isle: a combination of cheerfulness, fun, extreme sports and water games. GARDALAND AND LAKE GARDA Gardaland is the largest amusement park in Italy at about 182 kilometres from the campsite. TREVISO About 53 kilometres from the campsite, the city of Treviso is crossed by the Sile River creating the characteristic canals in the historical centre.
TRIESTE Europe’s pearl at about 151 kilometres from the campsite. Trieste, a beautiful and extraordinary city offering nature, history and culture, seems to be anchored to a past that it cannot
forget. Here you may find a unique atmosphere, the Castle of Miramare and Duino, gastronomy, wine cellars and typical local products.
