Welcome to the website  www.campeggievillaggi.it  of Editoriale Eurocamp Srl (hereinafter “ Site ”).

With this Privacy Policy, Editoriale Eurocamp Srl provides the user with information relating to the processing of personal data - pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter " Regulation ") - which are collected automatically or which the user voluntarily provides by accessing and browsing the Site, as well as using the services provided therein.  

Browsing is free and does not require registration; the provision of personal data is permitted in the "Company Area," "Contact Us Now," "Newsletter," and "Favorites" sections, where a link to the content of this document is provided.

The Site may also contain hyperlinks to third-party websites, pages, or online services. By clicking on these links, the user will be able to access multimedia content that, being the exclusive property of these third-party providers, is beyond the control of Editoriale Eurocamp Srl and is not subject in any way to the provisions of this Privacy Policy. Editoriale Eurocamp Srl therefore urges users to exercise caution when subscribing to services offered by third parties and to carefully read the data processing policies provided by these third-party providers. Editoriale Eurocamp Srl has no control over these third-party providers and cannot be held responsible for them.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Editoriale Eurocamp Srl (CF and VAT number 06458740153), with registered office in Milan, Via Console Marcello n. 18/4, telephone number 02/38001954, email address  info@eurocamp.srl  and certified email address  editoriale-eurocamp@pec.it  (hereinafter “ Company ”).

2. Type of personal data processed

Personal data means any information that concerns you and is attributable to you.

Specifically, the treatment will concern:

-  Personal data relating to navigation

When you browse the Site, the Company collects browsing data using cookies or other tracking technologies to verify the proper functioning of the Site and allow you to use the services provided therein, as well as to ensure better navigation, obtain information about visits and process statistical analyses, and identify anomalies and/or abuses.

For more information on the technologies used to collect such data, the Company invites the user to read the provisions of the following point 4) on Cookies.

-  Data provided voluntarily by users

The Company also processes personal data voluntarily provided by the user during interaction with the services provided by the Site, such as accessing the personal area, requests for information, and subscribing to the newsletter. The data voluntarily provided by the user are:

email address for accessing the personal area;
name, surname, email address, telephone number and any other data provided when filling out the form to request information;
email address for newsletter subscription;
Name, surname, email address, telephone number, information relating to the potential stay (arrival date, departure date, number of adults, number and age of children, number of pets), and any additional information provided when completing the form, to send the request to the accommodations;
(hereinafter, collectively, “ Data ”).

The optional and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this Site entails the acquisition of the sender's email address, which is necessary to process the request, as well as any additional personal data voluntarily provided in the message. This data is used solely to respond to the request and is not disclosed in any way.


3. Purpose of processing and legal bases

When browsing the Site and using the services provided therein, the Data is processed for the following purposes:

allow navigation of the Site, monitor its correct functioning and ascertain responsibility in the event of computer crimes, as well as process statistical analyses of visits to the Site and create profiles that allow the sending of advertising in line with the preferences expressed by the user (hereinafter " Site Navigation "). The legal basis is found in the execution of the contract (Article 6.1 b) of the Regulation), as well as in the legitimate interest of the Company (Article 6.1 f) of the Regulation) and, with reference to the processing of statistical analyses and the creation of profiles that allow the sending of advertising in line with the preferences expressed, in the consent expressed by the user (Article 6.1 a) of the Regulation);
access the personal area and use the services reserved for registered users (hereinafter " Personal Profile "). The legal basis is the execution of the contract (Article 6.1 b) of the Regulation);
respond to and process requests received from the user (hereinafter " Contacts "). The legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the user's request (Article 6.1 b) of the Regulation);
allow you to subscribe to the newsletter and receive communications via email containing information about the Company's products, services, and events (hereinafter, the " Newsletter "). The legal basis is the user's express consent (Article 6.1(a) of the Regulation);
send requests received from the user to the structures selected as "preferred" (hereinafter " Sending Request "). The legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the user's request (Article 6.1 b) of the Regulation);
exercise and defend the Company's rights in any venue, including judicial, administrative, arbitration, and/or mediation and conciliation proceedings (hereinafter " Defense "). The legal basis is the Company's legitimate interest (Article 6.1 f) of the Regulations).
With the exception of navigation data (automatically collected through cookies or other tracking technologies), the provision of Data is of a nature:

- mandatory for the purposes referred to in the previous letters a), b), c), e), and f). Therefore, failure to provide the Data by the user will make it impossible for the Company to fulfill the requests (for example, navigate the Site, allow the user access to their personal profile, respond to any requests for information, and send requests to the facilities);

- optional for the pursuit of the purpose referred to in the previous letter a) and, specifically, for the processing of statistical analyses regarding visits to the Site and the creation of profiles that allow the sending of advertising in line with the preferences expressed, as well as for the pursuit of the purpose referred to in the previous letter d). Therefore, failure to provide the Data by the user will make it impossible for the Company to process statistical analyses regarding visits to the Site and to create profiles that allow the sending of advertising in line with the preferences expressed, as well as to subscribe the user to the newsletter. However, this will not prejudice the pursuit of the remaining purposes referred to in letter a) and those set forth in letters b), c), e), and f).

4. Cookie

The Site uses technical and analytical cookies to enable normal navigation and use, as well as to process statistical analyses. Further information on the characteristics of the cookies used on the Site can be found in the Cookie Policy.

5. Methods of processing

For the purposes indicated in point 3) above, the Data will be processed in paper form and electronically, in compliance with the regulatory provisions regarding the processing of personal data, adopting appropriate security measures. Data processing is managed by internal Company personnel (for example, administrative and sales staff) who are specifically authorized, trained, and instructed to ensure adequate security and confidentiality, as well as to prevent the risk of loss and/or destruction and access by unauthorized parties.

6. Communication and dissemination of data

The Data will not be disclosed. Within the limits strictly relevant to the purposes indicated in point 3) above, the Data may be disclosed to:

- structures selected as "preferred" for sending the request, entities authorized by law or regulation, such as, by way of example and not limited to, Public Authorities and Judicial Authorities;

- entities who, as independent data controllers or processors pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, are involved in the processing of the Data (such as, by way of example and not limited to, companies that perform management and maintenance activities on the IT systems, platforms, and applications in use).

The updated list of names of data controllers can be requested from the Company by sending an email to  privacy@editoriale-eurocamp.it .

7. Data retention period

The Company retains the Data for the period of time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. Except as expressly provided in points 3) and 4) above with reference to  Website Navigation , the Data is retained for the purposes of:

-  Personal Profile  will be retained until the user closes the profile, which can be requested at any time;

-  Contacts  will be retained for the period of time necessary to allow the Company to process the request received and, in any case, for a maximum of 7 (seven) days from the date of their collection;

-  Newsletters  will be retained until the user revokes their consent, including by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each communication;

-  Requests  will be retained until they are communicated to the selected "preferred" facilities, which occurs in real time upon the user's submission of the request. Please note that the Company does not retain the data further;

-  Defense data  will be retained for the entire duration of the dispute and until the terms for any appeal and/or for the limitation of the relevant action have expired;

However, this does not affect the exercise of the rights referred to in the following point 8), including the right to withdraw consent and to object to the processing, as well as the fulfillment of specific retention obligations established by law.

8. Rights of the interested party

With reference to the Data, you have the right to ask the Company in the manner indicated in the Regulation and without prejudice to the provisions and limitations set forth in Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Part I - Title I - Chapter III):

- access, in the cases provided for (art. 15 of the Regulation);

- the rectification of inaccurate data and the integration of incomplete data (art. 16 of the Regulation);

- the deletion of the Data for the reasons provided for (Article 17 of the Regulation), such as when they are no longer necessary for the purposes indicated above or are not processed in compliance with the Regulation;

- the limitation of processing for the hypotheses envisaged (Article 18 of the Regulation), such as when the accuracy of the Data is contested and it is necessary to verify its correctness;

- portability, i.e. the right to receive, in the cases provided for (Article 20 of the Regulation), the Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit such Data to another data controller;

- opposition to the processing, in the cases provided for (Article 21 of the Regulation).

Where processing is based on consent, you also have the right to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.  Furthermore, to no longer receive newsletters, you may unsubscribe by clicking the "unsubscribe/unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each communication. You may exercise all of the above rights by sending a certified email  to  privacy@editoriale-eurocamp.it   or by registered mail to the Company's registered office.

9. Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates the provisions of the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation.

10. Transfer of Data Abroad

The Data is stored at the Company's headquarters and on servers located in the European Union. In the event of Data transfer abroad, the Company undertakes to ensure that the transfer of Data to such countries is carried out in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation and, specifically, in compliance with adequate safeguards (adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, etc.).
