Orbetello Camping Village

The camping site,Il Veliero, is situated about 70 mt. from the sea, along a 9 km stretch of wonderful beaches, in a particularily happy and attractive area of the "Tuscan Maremma".
It is a 3 star camping ground equipped with the most up to date services, among which animation and shows can be enjoyed during the months of July and August.
Another interesting and very exciting thing to note about Il Veliero is that it is situated in the heart of the WWF oasis, only 10 km from the Maremma Natural Park. Besides being very near to the Natural Park, it is also in the heart of the historical Etruscan area, (one only has to think of the famous cities of Sovana and Saturnia), and only a stone's throw from the Monte Argentario and its harbour towns of Porto S. Stefano and Porto Ercole.
The camping site is open all year round and is the ideal destination for peaceful weekends, surrounded by nature, for those who enjoy water sports, organizing nature and archeological trails and going horse-riding. This complex is a "real" tourist village, capable of offering the absolute holiday.
It is possible to rent mini apartments which are immersed in wonderful green areas, and taste typical dishes and wines of the area in the indoor restaurant or for every necessity shop in the supermarket.
Il Veliero also has its own private beach, equipped with all the necessary services and comforts.
