The camping site is situated in Punta Braccetto, a small fishing village not far from S. Croce Camerina (in the province of Ragusa, South-East Sicily). The whole complex covers an area of 5000 square metres bordering a beautiful beach of golden sand.
The camp site has had family management since it was first opened by Prof. Giuseppe Nobile. Thanks to his enthusiasm and to his entrepreneurial flair, within a few years he managed to create a complex with all modern comforts. For the ten years 1968-1978 he was regularly awarded the prestigious "Prize for Quality and Courtesy". The camping site is divided into four main areas following the natural slope of the ground towards the sea. The whole layout reminds one of the typical courtyards of local farms (masseria) which can be visited. There is a total of 48 pitches some under natural shade and some under locally made wood and cane roof. Each main area has its own toilet and hand washing facilities, making a total of 31 toilets and hand basins for the use of the whole site clientele. There is a private WC for every two pitches. In addition there are 8 showers (4 cold water and 4 solar energy hot water). The entire camping site was taken over by Prof. Nobile's nephew and niece in Winter 2001 and underwent total refurbishment to meet current regulations. Tradition played a major role in the updating. Only the best materials, such as wood, terracotta and local stone, were used to enhance the beauty and comfort of the complex.
