Tesonis Boschetto Holiday

The campsite lies on the sea, at the foot of Mount "Cartuceddu" in the Tesonis area. It is quite large, very comfortable and quiet. The camping ground slopes slighty down to the sea, disclosing a marvellous view of Foxi Manna Bay: thus the sea and the mountain confer this spot of Ogliastra's territory a very special charm. From the campsíte you can go straight into a strio, of very enjoyable rocky coast. This coast with its crystal clear waters has stifl the merit of being full of fish, so if you are keen on subaqueous sports you will appreciate this fabulous spot. Moreover, sandy beach lovers can walk straight to Fòxi Manna beach wich is only 400 metres from the campsite and stretches over a 1000 metres along the coast with its very fine snow-white sand.
Several "nuraghes", the most fascinating and mysterious example of Sardinia's ancient architecture, together with the "San Giovanni" tower (1639), rise on the top of many hills which can be found along the 12 kms of Tertenia seashore. These superb stone monuments bear witness to an extraordinaty historic heritage. Mount Cartuceddu and Mount Ferru, in the immediate iniand offer all hikers an enchanting víew of a splendid and vast expanse of "Ogliastra's" land and coast.
