Located about 3 km from the crystal-clear sea of Santa Maria di Leuca, "De Finibus Terrae", is the furthestmost tip of Italy’s boot heel. In midst of the greenery of pine, eucalyptus and olive trees, Camping Village S. Maria di Leuca covers an area of about 30,000 m2. A convenient shuttle bus service carries guests who do not have cars or are tired of using them to the sea. It also provides service to and from the train and bus stations. Camping Village S. Maria di Leuca provides its guests with comfortable shaded plots, with power outlets, three toilet facility blocks, hot showers and coin-operated washing machines, chemical disposal and camper services. The campground includes 7 completely furnished mini-apartments. They are located on the ground or first floors and are divided into the following types: Mini-apartment for two, one double room, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor verandah; Mini-apartment for three, room with double bed and single bed, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor verandah; Mini-apartment for four, two double rooms, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor verandah; Mini-apartment for five, two bedrooms, living room with 5th bed, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor verandah; Mini-apartment for six, two bedrooms, living room with bunk bed, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor verandah. In the midst of the crisp scent pine and eucalyptus trees, the campground features 25 completely-furnished fiberglass bungalows. The bungalows consist of one room with 4 sleeping places in bunks, cabinet, shelves and other areas for suitcases, telephone, indoor small bathroom with hot shower, well-shielded, private outdoor verandah, equipped with a three-burner stove, refrigerator, sink, cabinet with dishes, and table with chairs. Inside the village, there is a well-being center that is available throughout the summer season and, upon request, in the rest of the year. Children are entrusted to the care of the entertainers in the kid’s club. They have plenty of space to have fun and play, while parents can enjoy their vacations in peace and quiet. In the center of the Village, there are two swimming pools available to guests (one is semi-Olympic size and the other is small for children). In the surrounding square, which is supplied with deck and lounge chairs, many recreational activities take place, such as calisthenics, aerobics, competitions and games in and out of the water, water gym, evening shows and a gazebo in which physiotherapies and Shiatsu are practiced. Athletic facilities available for the fun of our guests include two multi-purpose tennis fields, five-a-side soccer, volleyball, two Italian bowling fields and ping-ping. Courses are also available for swimming, tennis and diving.
