Village Baia del Silenzio

The village is to Caprioli in the commune of Pisciotta, and is situated directly on the sea. From the centers of Palinuro of Pisciotta there is about 4 kilometers. From the railway nearer station (Pisciotta- Palinuro) there is about 2 kilometers. In auto the village could be reached crossing the Highway of the Sun until to Battipaglia, following the S.S.18 and the varying Speedway and/ or the S.S. 18 until to the village. The village rises in Caprioli, placed on the coast to a few kilometers from Palinuro, in an ample natural amphitheater rich of vegetation.
In a mixture of legend and history, this earth narrates still of Greek and Roman's ships, of Palinuro helmsman of Ulisse, spellbound... Excursions with departure from the village: in boat with visit to the fascinating coasts of the Cilento, with stroke of the sword fish and lamparata; or toward the archaeological neighboring destinations like Velia, Paestum or Pompei...
