The woodlands comprise several thousands pine trees

In the dephts of the wood one can find the Holm-oak, the Myrtle and the Mastic tree; in the foreground, the silver leaves of the Juniper bushes. Each spring, many Cyclamen and Anemones bloom.
Oleanders burst into flower in long hedges.
In the sands blooms the sweet smelling beach lily, one of the most beautiful flowers.
