Camping Village Holiday

Camping – Villages Holiday, set up in 1975, has always kept on renovating over the years. It is by the sea, 5 metres from the sand. The streets are paved and the shadow is assured by the poplar trees, the pine trees and the palm trees. Externally, there is a guarded parking lot, the private beach "Caribe", three tennis courts and five-a-side football. The HOLIDAY campsite covers an area of 19.830 mq and has 78 pitches. It has a split swimming pool reconstructed in 2002 (one side for adults with an attractive cave from which a waterfall pours down for whirlpool, at the feet a Jacuzzi; the other side for children with two different areas for both small and big kids and with two large mushrooms from which water squirts out). There’s a bar, a tobacconist’s, a self-service restaurant with pizzeria where credit cards are accepted, market, fruit and vegetable shop, games room and playground. The newsstand is in front of the campsite. Out of the 112 Holiday accommodations the oldest bungalows are the “Azzurra” built in the 80’s; the latest ones are the “America” type built in the 90’s, and in 2000 the “Europa” type and the “Buena Vista”- rooms on the first floor with 3/4 beds, a kitchenette and a bath-shower were built and, built in 2005, the new “Europa Air Conditioned”. The private beach "Caribe" is in front of Holiday, it has a kiosk (01/06-15/09), it rents out a beach umbrella with deckchair and sun bed to Holiday guests only, from Euro 4,00 per day in June and September, and Euro 6,50 in July and August. Canoes, pedal boats and rafts are also for hire. From the first Saturday of June till the first Saturday of September entertainment is organised at the village: either sports lessons in swimming, canoeing, beach volley, five-a-side, bowling, cards or evening shows, ballroom dancing, disco and kids’ club. On Sunday mornings mass is heard at the Holiday campsite. A few hundred metres from the campsite there is a track for kart cross go pro, quad cross, mini motor bikes and go kart; 1 km away there is the water park "Onda Blu". The provincial authorities of Teramo organise free excursions in the picturesque area around Teramo. The village is situated one kilometre from the centre to which it is connected by a town service. Giulianova has a hospital and holiday first aid facilities along the sea front.
