the Camping Sangro is situated in a unique position inside a wonderful and fresh wood that, through its natural terraces,
overlooks the clean and unpolluted sea of Torino di Sangro. This sea is well-known for its "Costa dei Trabocchi", ancient fishing machines, and for its long and varied coastline:
a wonderful series of caves, rocks and pebbles.
The wood is the one called "Lecceta di Torino di Sangro" and is the only wide wood along the Adriatic Sea, famous for its flora and fauna.
A lot of birds and mammals find shelter in its thick and luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation
and it's the only area in Abruzzo where the tortoise lives and is reproduced.
The Camping Sangro extends for 25.000 m2 inside the wood.
Here you can find: Bugalows with kitchen space and bathroom with warm shower; Tuculs and wide and shaded campsites.
The sandy and pebbly beach is free and is 300 mt far from the camping.
